Computer Classes

We offer a range of one hour classes which cater for absolute beginners right through to people who want to browse the internet and email with confidence.

Food for Thought talks

Come and join one of our talks by different inspiring and entertaining speakers every Tuesday 10.45am at Guild House SW19 4EF at a cost of £4. For a guide to the talks we have coming up this summer please click here.

Our knitting group have been meeting at the Guild every Monday morning for many years and new joiners are very welcome. They have steadfastly supported the Guild by selling their hand knitted garments at events throughout the year, for example raising money to enable us to purchase exercise equipment for our Exercise After Stroke classes.

Three people exercising in our Senior Exercise class

Get Up and Go! Exercise class for over 55s

Keep fit and flexible, help to avoid falls and support recovery at this new class run in partnership with the South Mitcham Community Centre on Friday mornings.

Exercise After Stroke

Focussing on muscle mobility, flexibility, strength, co-ordination and balance our classes can help you regain and maintain your independence.

Secret Garden Walks

Why not join one of our monthly Secret Garden Walks and go behind the gates to discover beautiful gardens beyond.

Love all things Italian?

Let us know what you think of our latest idea. We would like to run a set of informal Italian culture and language sessions here at Guild House on Wednesday mornings led by our wonderful volunteer Yvonne, who grew up in Italy as a child. Sessions will be very relaxed and informal. Yvonne will help you learn the basics to be able to navigate your way around Italy, touching also on its’ culture and its food (of course!), she’ll help you discover Italy in all its glory! Interested? Then please let us know and we’ll make these informal and friendly sessions happen!

This ancient form of exercise targets strength, flexibility and breathing to enhance physical and mental wellbeing.

Men’s Matters

We’re always asked, "what is there for men at the Wimbledon Guild?" … So we’ve spoken to some of the men who regularly access our services and the overriding feeling seems to be, somewhere they can meet, swap stories, chat, discuss topics and generally put the world to rights!....all over a good old cup of ‘Homefood Café’ tea of course! Sounds like something you’d be interested in too? Then now is your chance to come and get involved, just let us know and we’ll make ‘Men’s Matters’ happen…..because Men, you do Matter to us!

Tai Chi

This class offers gentle exercise using natural movements and a wonderful way to make friends with your body.
