Jane Asher BEM, born in 1931 in Zambia, has over 80 years of swimming experience. The results? She broke all the British records and a whole lot of World and European records, too. Even after total hip replacement in 2002, her times continue to drop, proving there is life after surgery.
Now living near her family in London, Jane is currently teaching a local councillor to swim and is part of the Kings Cormorants swimming club in Wimbledon. Jane will be interviewed about her swimming life and how she has inspired many of us to swim and compete.
£5 including refreshments.
