Stroke Social Club Volunteer 

Ongoing volunteer role 

Tuesday (weekly) - 1 - 3pm, WG Morden, 3-4 Crown Parade, Crown Lane, Morden, SM4 5DA 

The stroke group provides a safe, social space in a supportive and caring environment for people affected by stroke living in Merton. Built on friendships and fun; whether it’s to learn more about stroke, support available, self-care or just to chat and share stories; to help build people’s confidence as they rebuild their lives after stroke. 

Assisting the lead facilitator in the development of the group and where appropriate, coordinate activities such as inviting guest speakers. You'll also be welcoming new participants, signing them in, and encouraging them to join in with discussions.

No qualifications or experience with stroke is needed (although preferred).
